School-Aged

The Extended Day program provides a "home away from home" for school-age children in grades K through 5. Our morning program starts at 7:30 AM. The staff greets arriving students with activities designed to help them transition smoothly into the school day. The staff walks with the children up the driveway and waits with the kids until the CPS school bus arrives. In the afternoon, our staff meets every bus carrying CPS students to CKH to make sure all students are safe and accounted for. During the afternoon, we offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities including story times, crafts, cooking, STEAM, homework club, music practice, sports, and games. On CPS early release days and teacher professional development days, we offer additional childcare options. We are open until 6:15 PM on weekday evenings.
